Brahmos Aerospace Thiruvananthapuram Limited (BATL)
is a subsidiary Company of BrahMos Aerospace Private Limited (BAPL), New
Delhi, which is a Joint Venture between India and Russia formed through
Inter-Governmental Agreement with a majority shareholding of 50.5% by
Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Government of
India. This Company has exclusive task of design, development,
production and sale of BrahMosSupersonic Cruise Missiles for our Armed
Forces. BATL is managed by an Independent Board with members from BAPL,
DRDO, ISRO, State Government and also with independent expert member.
BATL is presently manufacturing systems, components for DRDO, ISRO, BrahMos, HAL, BARC related with missiles including BrahMos systems, PSLV, GSLV, satellites and robotic arms. BA TL is manufacturing these components and systems as per orders received from the above Organizations.
